2008/01/23: New additions to Events section, Locations section, and Graphic Design program.
Platt College traces its origin to the state of Missouri and to the original school’s founding in St. Joseph in 1879. Today, Platt College has three Southern California campuses located in Los Angeles, Huntington Beach and Ontario. These campuses were originally branches of Platt College, San Diego. The Huntington Beach campus achieved main campus standing in 1985 and Los Angeles in 1989. The Ontario campus opened in 1997 as a branch location of the Los Angeles campus.

Platt College provides a balanced program of instruction necessary to acquire the specialized knowledge and skills needed for success. The dynamic requirements of employers, as well as the individual needs of the student body, mandate that the College upgrade and enhance each area of study on a continuing basis.
Accreditation and Approvals
Platt College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. The College is also approved by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education pursuant to California Education Code Section 94310.
