Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Department coordinates federal, state, institutional and private assistance programs. Platt College is eligible to participate in Federal Department of Education Title IV Programs. Eligible applicants may benefit from the following federally sponsored programs, which provide grants, loans and federal work-study to cover portions of tuition and fees:
  • Pell Grant
  • Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
  • Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Student Loans
  • PLUS (parent) Loans
  • Consolidation Loans

Platt College can also provide private education loans through various third-party lenders. Applicants are required to complete a credit application to determine approval status.

Additional information about these programs is available from the Financial Aid Department. Brochures and pamphlets regarding student loan programs available to applicants include information on specific loan types and repayment conditions, the availability of federal and state grants, and the requirements for loan eligibility.
