Financial Aid Representatives at Platt College will help you with financial aid. Eligible applicants may benefit from the following federally sponsored programs, which provide grants, loans and federal work-study to cover portions of tuition and fees:
--Pell Grant
--Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
--Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Student Loans
--PLUS (parent) Loans
--Consolidation Loans

Platt College can also provide private education loans through various third-party lenders. Applicants are required to complete a credit application to determine approval status. Financial aid is available to those that qualify.

Imagine America High School Scholarship

The award winning Imagine America scholarship helps thousands of high school seniors each year to pursue a post-secondary career education at hundreds of career schools across the nation. Platt College participates in the Imagine America scholarship program.

Each year, every high school in the U.S. can select up to three graduating seniors to receive a $1,000 Imagine American scholarship. Students must meet the standard admissions requirements of the participating career college to which they apply.

Getting Started with FAFSA

For information on how to apply for Federal Student Aid, students can get started with FAFSA.

Prospective students may secure an application to participate in Federal Student Aid programs from the Student Financial Aid department of the Institute or from a high school counselor. The Institute will process the application electronically. The central processor will calculate the Expected Family Contribution according to the Federal Needs Analysis. All information submitted to the central processor is subject to various edits. Students also have the option of filing the application on their own by using FAFSA on the Internet, or mailing the application via regular mail.

Students have the option to obtain their own PIN and file the application on their own by using the U.S. Department of Education FREE Application for Federal Student Aid Web Site on the WEB or mailing the application via regular mail.
